Yes, many will say that Indiana University is taking common sense steps in order to run their operation as efficiently as possible, but do not forget that for every public university that takes these actions there are dozens more who have chosen not to.

The desired result of the terrorist, whether it be domestic or foreign is a nation wrapped in fear. They hope for a nation of people turning inward, feeling safe only in our own homes. What a demoralizing future this would be. As if fear has not run rampant enough with many in our society this will certainly add to the consternation of many.

We have many people today who claim to be conduits to not just the original intentions of the founding fathers, but they also claim special knowledge of how the founders would approach the problems we currently face.
We have those who should be the more qualified messengers such as Congresswoman Michele Bachmann, the more colorful messengers such as Glenn Beck, and the more familiar messengers such as everyone's opinionated neighbor Bob.
